New Delhi, India - The counting of votes for the 2024 Lok Sabha general elections in India is currently underway, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi holding a significant lead in his constituency of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. The elections, which were held in seven phases from April 19 to June 1, saw over 900 million voters cast their ballots.
